It all started in 1998: at that time, the first building projects in Saxony-Anhalt and Saxony were managed from Dessau – parallel to Johannes Kister’s professorship at the Anhalt University of Applied Sciences at the Bauhaus Dessau. These include the extension buildings for the Department of Architecture in Dessau, a retirement home in Rosslau, the Harz University of Applied Sciences in Wernigerode and, above all, the buildings in the inner city of Halle. In Leipzig, the ksg team of about 25 people has been working together successfully since 2007 and has planned and implemented a large number of projects, from the Sophienpalais in Hamburg to the Fraunhofer Institute in Bayreuth and Freiburg. The Leipzig branch office is located in an office loft on Nikolaistraße, only a few minutes’ walk from the main station.
